Policy Statements
Our commitments to quality and information security, as part of the Terra Industries Integrated Management System.
Quality Policy
Terra Industries is committed to consistently delivering hardware platforms and software that meet customer requirements and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, with reliability and mission assurance treated as paramount given the Company’s defense, government, and critical-infrastructure customer base. In pursuit of this commitment, Terra Industries will:
- Establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve a Quality Management System that satisfies the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, as part of the Company’s wider Integrated Management System.
- Provide the framework for setting, communicating, and reviewing measurable quality objectives at relevant functions and levels of the Company.
- Satisfy applicable statutory, regulatory, export control, and customer contractual requirements relevant to product quality, tracked in the Statutory, Regulatory & Export Compliance Register.
- Apply risk-based thinking to product design, manufacture, and support, recognizing that a defect in a hardware platform and a defect in the software or security controls protecting it are frequently a single risk to mission assurance.
- Continually improve the effectiveness and maturity of the Quality Management System.
